CRACKING STEAM'S TOP 20

Hello, GZW Community,

We're happy to announce that Gray Zone Warfare, the first-of-its-kind seamless open-world extraction shooter, has been ranked among the Top 20 in Steam's Gross Revenue for 2024, according to the respected outlet The GameDiscoverCo.

We are incredibly thankful to the players who helped us to reach this achievement.

With over 1 million base game units sold and 1.5 million total units in less than a year since its Early Access launch on April 30th, the game proudly stands alongside industry giants. To celebrate this success, we have released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the recent major update, Night Ops.

“It is a testament to the dedication of the Gray Zone Warfare community and the team's relentless effort. We are truly grateful for all the support, but we still have a long way to go, as the game is currently only 20% complete. The upcoming year, 2025, with two major updates and global localization, will be a significant step for Gray Zone Warfare.”

Night Ops update & Recent Fixes

Gray Zone Warfare recently received its first major update, Night Ops, transforming Lamang Island into a dynamic battlefield with a new day/night cycle and tactical gear. Players must adapt to an accelerated 2:1 day/night rhythm, using night vision goggles (NVGs), flashlights, and laser sights to navigate and strategize in the darkness, with each tool requiring skill to master.

Since the update’s release, the game has also received five hotfixes, a patch, and recent AI improvements, which have been well-received by the community. You can look forward to further improvements to the current version of the game in the upcoming year.
